We will ask you to verify your current insurance coverage at every visit. If your insurance coverage changes, please have your new insurance cards available at that time. Before each vaccination visit, find out if your insurance plan covers your child’s immunizations. Be sure to notify your employer/ insurance company about any new additions to your family! For questions related to billing and insurance, please contact us by email or call us at 912-353-7744.
"Coastal Pediatrics has cared for my three children for many years. The doctors and nurses are incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. Billing Information
Please bring your most current insurance card when coming to our office to ensure that the insurance information we have on file (i.e. member id, group number, etc.) is correct at the time of service. Your claim processing could be delayed and you could be held financially responsible if the insurance information on file is invalid.
Payment:
We collect your copay at check-in so that you may leave the office immediately following your appointment. This can help with your child’s comfort after vaccinations and saves you from having to wait around after your child’s visit.
Payment may be made with cash, check, Visa or Mastercard and is required at the time services
are rendered. Your copay is determined by your insurance card/company, which you should bring with you to each visit.
Coastal Pediatrics understands that not all patients have healthcare insurance coverage. Please call our office at 912-353-7744 to inquire about our self-pay rates.
Payment Options
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and personal checks.
Card-on-File
We encourage patients to keep a credit card on file to make the checkout process easier, faster, and more efficient. You will no longer receive statements from us, but you will continue to receive your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier once your claim has been processed, detailing the charges and payments made on your behalf.
At check-in we will:
- scan the credit card of your choice, including your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) card
After your insurance has paid their portion, we will:
- notify you via email of the balance owed
- charge the balance owed to your card on file
- email a receipt for the charge
Your credit card information will always be fully protected by our off-site, card-processing partner Elavon, and not on our computers, as required by industry standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard – PCI-DSS).
